Innovative executive leader with proven expertise in creative direction, strategy, brand building, marketing, advertising, project management, video, content and graphic design. Adept at founding and directing revenue-generating creative departments within existing agencies and businesses from the ground up. Brings forward-thinking, results-driven approach to successful brand marketing with an extensive track record of winning new business, fostering enduring client relationships, and helping brands find their true north.  

Founder and leader of “The Grove,” a multi-disciplinary creative agency within RF|Binder and winner of PR News Agency Team of the Year, as well as multiple Telly and Communicator awards. Launched and led the award-winning graphic design creative division, “Yello,” within McCann Minneapolis, a $900MM, 70-year-old agency. Yello generated $2.6MM in net new business in the first two years. Also directed thriving creative groups at MRM New York and MSL Group. 

Directed CLIO-winning campaigns, served as a two-time CLIO PR juror, received the Getty Images New Directors Grant, speaker at the Cannes Lions PR Roundtable, and launched an award-winning skateboard brand. Received recognition from Adweek, Ad Age, CLIO Awards, Creativity Magazine, AIGA, Shoot Magazine, Graphic Design USA, Print Magazine, PRSA, Mercury Awards, Telly Awards, and Communicator Awards.

On a Personal Note

Beyond my professional life in brand, creativity and design, I’ve always been driven by curiosity, challenge, and a passion for the new and next. In my twenties, I climbed Half Dome in Yosemite, trekked Nepal’s Annapurna Circuit, and even fought in New York’s Golden Gloves Boxing tournament. I traveled to Brazil before earning a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I’ve spent decades exploring creativity through music, and my study of jazz guitar continues to shape how I think, always balancing structure with improvisation, listening, adapting, and finding new harmonies in every collaboration.

That same spirit guides how I lead teams and build brands. Starting with openness, curiosity, and a belief that creativity thrives in motion. I’m a husband, father of two, dog lover, and lifelong artist who still paints, sketches, shoots, and seeks out new ideas every day always learning, always evolving, always reaching for what’s next.
